HelpForge HelpForge

Discord support tickets, built for real moderation workflows.

Discord-native support and help bot

HelpForge turns support chaos into structured tickets inside Discord.

Create tickets, assign staff, track status, and resolve support issues — all inside Discord.

Built for moderator teams, game communities, private servers, and member support channels, HelpForge gives support staff structured intake, clear ownership, and reusable answers without pushing the workflow onto a separate website.

Discord-first UX Thread and forum ticket flow Support teams and game communities

What HelpForge is for

  • Support-heavy Discord servers that need structure instead of role pings and DMs
  • Online game communities with staff triage and repeat questions
  • Private member communities that need clear ownership and ticket visibility

Before You Begin

Set up the right Discord channel and permissions before running /setup support

HelpForge works best when the support destination already exists and the bot can create and manage threads there.

Create a support text channel

Start with a normal Discord text channel for the default setup flow.

  • Create a Text Channel in the server where support tickets should live
  • Common names: #support or #tickets
  • Use this when you want standard public threads or private threads

Optional: create a forum channel

Forum mode is optional and only needed if you want each ticket to appear as a forum post thread.

  • Create a Forum Channel in Discord
  • Use it only when you plan to enable forum mode
  • You do not need a forum channel for normal text-channel setup

Confirm bot permissions

HelpForge needs thread and messaging access in the support channel.

  • Send Messages
  • Create Threads
  • Create Private Threads
  • Send Messages in Threads

Choose the right mode

Pick the ticket style that matches your server before setup.

  • Simple mode (recommended): default setup using a regular text channel and public threads
  • Private mode: tickets open in private threads inside a text channel
  • Forum mode (advanced): tickets open in a forum channel

Features

Support workflows built around Discord, not bolted onto it

Ticket intake inside Discord

Members open tickets with /help, choose a category, and submit the issue without leaving the server.

Claim and assign workflow

Staff can claim ownership, unclaim, and see assignment state reflected on the ticket message itself.

Status tracking that stays visible

Open, waiting, resolved, and closed states are tracked in the database and shown directly in the ticket embed.

Close summaries and transcripts

Closing a ticket records the resolution summary and keeps transcript export hooks ready for staff review.

Saved answers for repeat issues

Convert solved tickets into reusable replies so moderators stop rewriting the same support answer every day.

Admin setup and staff controls

Categories, staff roles, routing, and the public help panel can all be configured around your server’s existing structure.

How It Works

Get the bot installed, wire up your workflow, and keep support in-channel

1

Install the bot

Invite HelpForge to your Discord server with the bot and application command scopes.

2

Run setup

Use /setup support with simple, private, or forum mode to point HelpForge at the right channel.

3

Add categories and roles

Create support categories and register your support/admin/routing roles.

4

Create the help panel

Post a public help button so members can start tickets without hunting for staff.

5

Members open tickets

Users run /help or press the panel button, then explain the issue through the intake flow.

6

Staff claim, resolve, and close

Moderators work the thread, change status, add answers, and close with a summary when done.
